Evidence camera

Watermarked photos with GPS coordinates, timestamp, and address burned in at the moment of capture.

Available on the Free plan and above.

The problem

Disputes happen. Insurance claims happen. "We did it" is a story; a watermarked photo with the GPS, timestamp, and street address baked in is a record. Most field-service apps just save the photo and the metadata in JSON — easily lost or stripped.

What Stelid does

Every photo captured through the Stelid camera gets a watermark overlay applied at capture time: GPS lat/long, timestamp (with offset), and reverse-geocoded street address. The watermark is part of the image bytes — strip the EXIF, save it elsewhere, the proof goes with it.

Capabilities

What you actually get.

GPS-stamped

Coordinates pulled from the device GPS at capture, with horizontal accuracy logged.

Address overlay

Reverse-geocoded street address rendered into the image, not just stored as metadata.

Per-trade watermark templates

Choose what shows: company logo, site address, job number — configured once, applied everywhere.

Offline capture

Photos queue locally and upload when the signal returns. Watermarks render before upload.

Auto-attach to job

Photos snap straight to the job they're taken for. No manual filing.

Per-org RLS

Photo storage is org-scoped. Cross-tenant visibility is structurally impossible.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

  • Yes. The watermark is overlaid before any processing; the original capture timestamp and GPS are also stored as metadata for chain-of-custody.
  • The capture still records the last known GPS fix and a "GPS unavailable" notice. Better than no record at all.
  • Only if you share them through the customer portal. Default visibility is internal.
